Managing Partners Forum

A great program! It was very helpful to hear both the faculty and participants comment on key issues.

Passing the Torch: Guiding Your Law Firm through Succession

November 3, 2021 - 1:00pm-5:00pm ET

After careful deliberation, we have canceled the in-person version of The MPF Fall Symposium, which was originally scheduled for October 6-7, 2021, at the University Club of Chicago.

In its place, we are pleased to present The “Virtual” MPF Fall Symposium on Wednesday, November 3rd, beginning at 1:00pm ET and running for four hours. Our faculty remains intact with a healthy dose of live audience polling questions added to the mix. The sessions will be recorded with plenty of timely and relevant handout materials.

Although nothing replaces the in-person experience, we will work hard to deliver the next best thing!

About the Symposium

The MPF Fall Symposium is a full-day law firm leadership conference designed especially for managing partners and leaders of smaller and midsize law firms. Compared to The MPF Leadership Conference (our signature event held in Atlanta each May), the Symposium is a smaller, more intimate conference that “drills down” on a specific topic based on feedback and input we gather from firm leaders.

This year, our topic is "succession planning" and we will cover a variety of issues associated with this challenging issue. Our format is highly interactive, and our faculty consists of both legal industry thought leaders and managing partners who have successfully led their firms through succession and transition.
